Fondation Ida - Code of Ethics
In order to achieve its mission and exercise its activities with the utmost transparency, a code of ethics of Fondation Ida has been adopted by the executive committee and the volunteers.
- Fondation Ida is a non-profit organization dedicated entirely to children with cancer and other grave diseases. Fondation Ida is politically and religiously independent. Its activities are carried out with respect for the environment and human rights.
- The members of the executive committee are wholly voluntary with regard to the Fondation's activities.
- Under no circumstances will a representative of Fondation Ida, in the name of Fondation Ida, make any personal profit by their association with the foundation.
- The objective of Fondation Ida is to realize projects to improve the quality of life for sick children. All Fondation Ida project must clearly describe and identify the project needs as well as the associated costs. The projects are then studied by the executive committee who alone have the authority to decide whether or not to realize them according to the established criteria.
- Fondation Ida refuses to support any projects that don't have clear objectives or that imply that the promoter of the project will derive more benefit than the sick children.
- Fondation Ida will refuse donations and support from any enterprise or person(s) who derive revenue from a doubtful activity or from the sale of harmful or unhealthy products. Fondation Ida will not accept donations and support from any enterprise or person(s) who work or collaborate with:
- Tobacco products.
- Defense Industry (arms, chemicals, etc.)
- Oil exploitation.
- Alcoholic beverages.
- Non democratic countries and repressive regimes.
