”Journée Dent-de-Lion”, March 20, 2010

On March 20, 2010 Lion´s Club organized a full day event in favour of Fondation Ida, ”Journée Dent-de-Lion” which included a delicious lunch for approximately 200 people in Aclens.

Foundation Ida hosted a stand with ten of our volunteers, presenting samples of artwork created by children in one of our many hospital workshops.

It was a very successful event in which lunch guests showed not only a great interest in the concept of Fondation Ida but also showed an impressive generosity.

Fondation Ida received a check in the amount of 5000 CHF. A fantastic donation that  we will use to invest in a mechanical saw in order to make objects out of wood.

We are deeply grateful to Lion´s Club for this remarkable initiative, that will help us to diversify our activities for severely ill children for many years to come. A thousand thanks !
