Autumn Workshop 1.11.2008

Fondation Ida held an autumn workshop on Saturday 1st of November 2008 at the Department of Pédiatric Oncology at the University Hospital in Lausanne, CHUV.

During the afternoon, four teachers and members of Institut Mont-Olivet La Côte made autumn decorations with eight hospitalized children who suffer from different forms of cancer or other serious diseases.

The children, boys and girls aged between one and fifteen made autumn paintings on canvas and decorated candlesticks with leaves and pearls, using a special napkin-technique.

Brothers and sisters also participated in the workshop. Several parents and nurses expressed their gratitute to the activity organized by Fondation Ida.

Our next workshop, with winter and Christmas as a theme, will take place at the same hospital on 13th of December. The same day, a second workshop will be organized for brothers and sisters to make a Christmas crown.
