Christmas Workshop November 28 2009

November 28 Fondation Ida organized a workshop on the theme of Christmas which was held on the eleventh floor at CHUV Hospital in Lausanne. This floor includes pediatric oncology and surgery as well as intensive care.

Children and teenagers from these wards participated in the workshop making personalized Advent calendars.  The children were encouraged to use their creativity freely, gluing textile ornaments on wooden baskets and decorating little bags with glittering glue and Christmas decorations.

The voluntary workers also held Advent calendar workshops in the patient rooms of children who could not move around or were obliged to stay in their beds.

During this creative workshop there was a lovely Christmas atmosphere with many nice warm moments of sharing.
