On August 28 2009, l´Institute Catholique Mont-Olivet in Vich, planted a tree and dedicated a fountain in Ida’s memory in the school’s front yard. The 15 year old olive tree from Italy was accompanied by a beautiful handmade fountain from the canton of Valais.

Ida´s parents Gunilla and Pascal and her brother Gustave attended the tree planting and dedication with Ida’s teacher Corinne. 

It was an extraordinary moment and the tree and fountain are truly magnificent. School children play under tree and drink water from the fountain every day.

Ida’s family are deeply honored by this tribute from the school she loved.
